Grand Food Truck Championship

Join us as we close out our season in style. This two day event celebrates all the amazing food vendors we saw over the summer. We will also crown a champion from several different categories. Voting will take place all summer long through the free heart of Food app. So be sure to download and start voting early in the season!

Additionally we will have an artisan village, live music all day and beer tent sponsored by the nonprofit Heart of Food.

Line ups and additional event details will be available spring 2026. 

All of our events are family friendly, including well behaved leashed furry family members. We encourage everyone to bring a lawn chair and/or blanket. Find a space enjoy your food, listen to great music and mingle with your neighbors. 
That is what community is all about!

  • 3 feet from a driveway

  • 15 feet from fire hydrants

  • 15 feet from or within intersections

  • 20 feet from marked crosswalks

  • 20 feet from railroad tracks

  • 30 feet from a flashing signal, stop sign, or traffic signal

Event Parking

New in 2026!
Parking will be allowed on the grass next to the event space.
Parking on the grass in any other location is a violation of city ordinance and subject to ticket. 

We understand that parking is frustrating. We ask that everyone be respectful of the neighborhood, and park only in legal parking spaces. 

We do have bike parking near the southeast entrance. 

Are you a band wanting to play at one of our events in 2026?

We do not have an open application link for events. Application links are emailed directly to those on our mailing list to prevent spam. if you would like To get on our mailing list for applications please email us and tell us about your business. All food trucks must have a valid city of Grand Rapids food truck license at the time of applying for events.

the Application window for all events opens December 20th and Each event has a different application window length. However by March 30th all events are fully booked and any application requests will be added to next year.
